Jim’s Story
Born in California, Jim Terry moved to Chicagoland when he was four and started drawing about the same time. After attending Western Illinois University he worked a number of menial jobs, crafting his own comic books throughout until he found a small niche doing storyboard work and illustrations for several ad firms in Chicago.
He has a number of self-published works out now, including “The Cave”, “Coma D. Clown, PI” and his crime saga “Lie Down Low”. Discovering the works of Will Eisner in 2006 has left an indelible mark on him, and he now vows to achieve notoriety in this most difficult of fields.
Hard at work on “Coma D. Clown, PI #2”, Jim continues to freelance and lives with his wife and two cats in Chicago.
